The Anglo Omani Society has published a series of brochures covering each of the 11 governorates of Oman, where various aspects of the history, culture and tourism aspects of each governorate is covered in series of articles’. I was pleased to contribute by writing an article covering the tourism potential of the governate of Dhofar, with its stunning mountains and lush coastal plains.
